SmartGateway provides a convenient and secured way for HR21 customers to complete the payroll file submission over the internet. SmartGateway portal allows customers of SmartPay to submit payroll/autopay instruction files one (1) day before the value day.
After successful submission and approval, the instruction files will be verified and converted into an encrypted instruction file to be sent to Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd. autopay centre for further processing via a secured channel. The SmartGateway portal can be configured to facilitate multiple-approvers workflow so that management can review and approve the instructions before they are transferred to the bank.
